Dominican Republic

This was an informative book about the Dominican Republic, written for kids. Unfortunately, the format was a bit of a cross between aimed at a younger audience and aimed at an older audience without transitional material or differentiation.

The book did have a decent set of references listed, although for a children’s book, the ‘Important Words’ list was short and did not have pronunciation listed for the words given.

The book was written more like a travelogue or a trip itinerary. If you are planning on traveling to the Dominican Republic, this might be a good book to take with to read on the plane, but as far as a student reference, this is not a good choice. I am certain there are much better options out there.
