Flip-a-Word: Pig Wig

What do a Pig and a Wig have in common? Their end sounds, of course! And you know what that means? Time for another Flip-a-Word book!

As I have said before, these books are great for beginning readers of any age. The interactive flip pages and bright, stylized pictures engage the reader into visualizing the word. I have not seen another set of books with the same approach.

My two-year-old is fond of these books, and has even started recognizing and reading the words from the word-soup at the back of the book, so I know it’s not just picture memorization or repetition. While part of me is already tired of these books, another part is hoping for more.
