COUHES Overview

The overview for MIT’s policy on Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects (COUHES), is basic and straight-forward. Basically, if you use people in any way, shape, or form for research, you need to take a training course (the link is at the side of the page), submit your study proposal for review, and renew at least annually.

I am highly considering taking the training course simply to know what is involved. It should also be informative when it comes to my psychology classes, since that, too, involves human participants.
